UT-King’s MPO adapters and MTP adapters that provide quick connection for up to 72 optical fibers.Connection integrity is provided by adapter latches which are locked into place by a spring loaded sliding mechanism on the MPO / MTP connector plug.MPO / MTP connector guide pins combined with the tightly controlled guide pin holes on MT ferrules.Numerous single port and ganged configurations are available to satisfy a variety of applications.Karono MPO / MTP adapters are fully compliant with IEC Standard 61754-7 and TIA 604-5-Type MPO.
The singlemode or multimode MPO products available from UT-King are multifiber connections used in high-density backplane and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) applications in data and telecommunications systems. They offer up to 12 times the density of standard connectors, providing signficant space and cost savings. The MPO Adapter comes standard in black, with additional colors available upon request.

Q: What are the benefits of using a patch panel?
A: Patch panels will allow testing routing and maintenance of network cables connected to your network. With a patch panel this is quickly done just by making changes to cables on the patch panel itself. Patch panels also allow for easier cable management and identification of cable routing.
Q: What is a rack unit?
A: A rack unit U or RU is a unit of measure that describes the height of equipment designed to mount in a rack. A rack unit is 1.75 inches. Typically one rack unit will take three vertical screw holes on each side of a standard rack.

Q: Can I use any fiber patch cable in my network with my enclosure?
A:If your fiber enclosure is loaded you must have cables that are compatible with the included adapters. For unloaded enclosures you must select adapter panels which correspond to your fiber connector type or use a splice tray for single- and mass-fusing.
